All in all, my journal posts are on livejournal to which you may have the address if you ask me nicely. Just drop me a note here.

As for the political stuff: don't buy GM food, don't wear fur, veggieness is up to you, fair trade rules down with freetrade etc. VOTE GREEN.

goodnight xx

Symposium Today

Wed Mar 2, 2005, 12:44 AM
The Photo Book Symposium with Martin Parr as the main speaker is today! (Wednesday 2 March) Only one hour until I catch the bus.

Totally exhausted, I went climbing for first time since trees as a kid. But this time included a 50ft wall and a harness. The thrill is fantastic but my shoulders and hands are killing me today. I need more arm strength.

Martin Parr is coming HERE!!!! :D

He's going to be giving a lecture at my Uni about his work. How excited am I? Can't you tell? :boogie: He is my favourite photographer. I loved his Brighton seaside images that were shown in the Tate Modern Gallery in the Cruel and Tender documentary photography exhibition. At least I think there were Brighton. And I think they're in his book "Common Sense". Erm so yeah! He's coming here! I don't know exactly when but it will be in the next three weeks. Before Christmas.

Edit: will actually be AFTER Christmas. March is looking most likely. Am still excited.

Merry Christmas!
